Vegetables with Peanut Sauce

Here is a simple dish with lots of vegetables and a delicious peanut cream that always delights me.

Take the vegetables of your choice (for me these are in this case mostly broccoli, carrots, potatoes and onions) and steam them with some water in a pan with the lid closed until they are almost done. Then fry them with some neutral oil. When the vegetables are crispy, remove them from the pan. Now stir three spoonfuls of peanut butter, soy sauce, grated ginger, chopped garlic, the juice of a lime, some chilli and the juice of an orange (optional) over medium heat in the pan until it turns into a creamy sauce and pour over the vegetables. Sprinkle some basil on top and you’re done!
